Farmers Market in Knoxville (I)

These are some impressions from the Farmers Market, which takes place every Wednesday and Saturday in Downtown Knoxville. It offers a great variety of vegetables, bread, peppers, crafts, cookies, and things you might or might not need...

When he saw me taking out my camera he immediately got off his chair where is used to sit and play and started dancing and playing, camera-friendly in stop-and-go. I have taken quite a few shots of him moving around but this is certainly my favorite.

This is honey in back-light. I like how the light plays with the fluid and the glass. I did not buy it, so I cannot tell you if it as delicious as it looks like.

These are peppers, all sorts of them. The guy selling the peppers (some call the "Crazy Pepper Guy") wanted to collect $16k on Kickstarter. He achieved only $3,540 and his final post on that matter is really worth reading, as he seems to be surprised by this flop.

Fresh produce is one the core ideas of the Farmers Market and is attracting many people.

They even have fresh bread, although I have not tried it yet (I am not sure if I want to pay $8 per bread). I might try it one day...

Besides a lot of wooden, glass, and metal craft you can also find these cute (and ecologically valuable) kitties.
